*sigh* If Johnson could swing the ball he'd be one of the best bowlers going around on the test scene.

EDIT: And he gets some reverse swing, instant LBW!! Ryder gone.

Clark strikes again, gets McCullum LBW as the ball nips back in at him, sensational bowling. Geez we missed him in India.

Johnson bowls a Harmison Ashes 06 ball there. The depressing thing is the seam was dead still for the first time in Johnson's life.

And Harmison did at least hit the pitch.
I reckon Johnson's was worse than Harmy's.

Not his biggest fan but that was a top delivery from Johnson, getting a touch of swing and bowls Flynn with the help of an inside edge.

And...he's just bowled another Harmison. Lol.

Stuart Clark bowls Elliott with the last ball of the day. So that's stumps with the Kiwis 6/143.

Why doesn't he have to bat at number 3?

I don't think there will be too much there either tomorrow, it's only going to last one hour.

Partly because he doesn't need the added pressure and also because he is quite vulnerable early on. Hussey is more likely to bat there over clarke.

Australia has one of the finest batsmen to ever play the game batting at 3. Ponting will finish his career with more runs in Test cricket than anyone else. How quickly people forget and how unfortunate it is that people don't appreciate what they have until it's gone.
