Wrong...

The council constructed that oval all by themselves and then told that school it's their responsibility, poor form from the council...

Also the grass on the oval is Bent Grass, the only places that bent grass is used in South Australia are Golf Clubs, it is not drought resistant it needs s**t loads of water and the grass should be cut three times a week at about 5-6mm...

So before you blame the school, think about how the council has f****d up something which is so easy...

By the way what was it seeded with?...

Just wanted to let all you good folk know that everyone down at the shoe is enjoying these posts and that a small but loyal group of us have jumped on the bandwagon of Dave Scarff to be Cricketer of the year this season. Hes been looking good up the order in the absence of a few of top order batsmen, hes letting the ball go beautifully with good shape (like rits hes been clocked at 140, using the same toy gun), and hes like a hampster on heat in the field. Hes also a great team man and always does the job when his team needs him.

Stay tuned for supporter base updates, complete with weekly skin fold tests and all the breaking news.

On other news:
The boys are looking forward to this weeks match - hear the porties boys have a few new additions - some are familiar faces that our boys are especially keen to get after.

I like it lads great to see and I for one am disapointed to see David had slowed to 140 he needs to get back in the nets and get back up to 150 where we all know he bowls his best.
Will juniour be back soon? this bloke is the most exciting cricketer I have seen for a long time and it wont be long before he grabs this comp by the sruff of the neck and dominates the SCA. :prayer:

DH a shit stirrer is a bit harsh I am a passionate supporter of the SCA and enjoy the posts and info that this forum gives.
Yes I am a former Shoe player and continue to have a very good relationship with the current and former playing group but am not involved in a formal capacity as a new generation of lads have taken that next step to keep the club moving in the right direction.
As for did I play against you? I dont know you but I think you are from Cove? If you played when Dale Champion was captain then possibly we did but I have not played for a while.(Dale is still the best bat that I have played against and have some great memories)
But shit stirrer no just someone who say's it as it is and if some get offended so be it :)

It is not the responsability of the club secretary to look on web sites not all have access to the net! That is the responsability of the SCA secretary or who ever they delegate that communication to.
As for our shit land who the hell are you and what club do you represent. :butthead:
