Fair enough. Sharing showers at EP is the last of anyone's worries anyway. Try getting out of the carpark alive!

After our game at EP this year all the EP boys were being friendly and their President came in for a chat which was nice.

I think it was Unit, Willow and I were walking through the carpark afterwards and a supporter came up and said "well played today boys". We were chuffed and thought 'these EP people are really nice after all'.

We stop to have a chat with him, then the supporter says "now **** off before we beat you up".

Thinking he is joking Unit says "ha ha, nice one".

"No, I'm ******* serious. Get out before we bash you!".

I was ready to sprint back for a cuddle with boozehound in the showers!

Yep LM. There was. No-one associated with the club though, both the attacker and receiver, just some young losers who brought a previous dispute to the clubrooms and almost spoilt a good night. As for teh footy trip, I haven't heard any details yet so cant comment

The usual scenario, some drifters go and ruin it, the point I was making is that there is often a little bit of heat around when you mix large amounts of alcohol with testosterone, I don't think EP should be labelled because somebody heard something somewhere, an altercation could mean anything.

No, fair call LM. As I said, I don't know alot about them so I'm not about to judge them from this story.

Keen Observer probably leaves his jocks on in the shower like we used to do in junior colts.

whatever shrek. was only asking because last time I played there one of our blokes got kinghit in the showers by an ep player who obviously didn't leave it on the ground. thought that the league had asked them to separate the showers post that incident.

Calm down, finn. The remark was made in jest. You can't blame the shared facilities for that kind of incident. He could just have likely had kinghit him in the club, carpark or elsewhere. When you start to sanitise football clubs like that soon they will make the spectators sit apart, have different carparks etc. I would argue that having the shared showers avoids animosity by forcing opposition players together. It's a lot harder to hate someone once you've had a chat with them.

Rule number 1 in the mens fighting handbook:

If both you and the guy you want to punch are naked - save the aggression until you at least have some jocks on to stop any unwanted wang touching.

So it's now official. Edwardstown will be going to the southern league. SMOSH have decided to go to Div 3 next year anyway and now Scotch OC have the choice if they want to stay in Div 2....... Interesting. Can SMOSH people pls tell me why you would want to go back to Div 3??

Latest mail is Scotch will probably stay in div 2. I thought they would be more keen to head to div 3 than SMOSH. Champion retired last year and I think they are going to lose Stranksy as well.

I thought Champion was their best defender last year, he'll be missed. Nothing a few Sturt fringe players won't fix though

R Champion has been Scotch's best player for a few years now, in and under and very hard at it. I think FC you will find that Bolton was their best defender last year. Stranks will be overseas in 09. They have some work to do to be competative in Div 2....... Get some respect back
