Cornthwaite - so frustrating, yet so good at times.
We psyched Danilo out with our physicality.
Cassio was great.
The sound was pulsating through the telly.

Cornflakes became a hero after his blunder last week.
The Uzbek team have one of the most skillful players I've ever seen in Rivaldo playing for them. He was a hero for Brazil at the 2002 World Cup. It's amazing that he will be coming to Hindmarsh Stadium, he's in great form for them too.
I was there last night and I don't know how you can say it was a great atmosphere?? Adelaide would have to be the quietest crowd in the country. Think it only got loud maybe twice, one UUUNIITEDD chant and when we scored the goal. Those 200 Japanese fans made more noise then the 16000 Adelaide fans did all night!
Anyway was a good effort by the boys last night, Kashima never really got going. If we could have finished off we would have won 3-0!

Fair point Rooster, Adelaide has a lot to learn when it comes to really getting vocal and showing their support. The Kashima fans were awesome! I found my foot tapping to the beat of their drum for most of the match! Having said that, still one of the loudest nights I've experienced at Hindmarsh. We need to make more noise when the boys are struggling though. It took Cristiano and Cassio (when he came off) to get the crowd going a bit. Hopefully the semi-final will show improvement. Promises to be a HUGE night! I can't wait! The Big O is a big loss, hopefully Mickey V can cover for him. Look for a big game from Agostino Mitsubishi! Ha, ha! I hope. He's due! Good to see the Cereal Offender redeem himself too!

Or that old chestnut:
And it's Aaa-de-laide....Adelaide United FC, is by far, the greatest team, the world has ever seen......
And it's Aaa-de-laide....Adelaide United FC, is by far, the greatest team, the world has ever seen......

I wish DA. Apart from the Gate mob, no one sings or chants or does anything...
We haven't the Football background of singing etc like the Euro / Sth American clubs...
