Yeah bought 2 GA tickets online this morning. All up cost about $58 which includes all booking fees.

A reserved seat in the Grandstand is about $34 and whatever the booking fee is.

Get a GA ticket, get there reasonably early and claim your spot.

Cornthwaite - so frustrating, yet so good at times.
We psyched Danilo out with our physicality.
Cassio was great.
The sound was pulsating through the telly.

Danilo spent more time sprawled out on the turf than anything else. As soon as someone layed a fingernail on him he was down. At one stage he slipped over and I was quite surprise he didn't plead to the ref for a free kick.

Cornflakes became a hero after his blunder last week.

The Uzbek team have one of the most skillful players I've ever seen in Rivaldo playing for them. He was a hero for Brazil at the 2002 World Cup. It's amazing that he will be coming to Hindmarsh Stadium, he's in great form for them too.

I was there last night and I don't know how you can say it was a great atmosphere?? Adelaide would have to be the quietest crowd in the country. Think it only got loud maybe twice, one UUUNIITEDD chant and when we scored the goal. Those 200 Japanese fans made more noise then the 16000 Adelaide fans did all night!
Anyway was a good effort by the boys last night, Kashima never really got going. If we could have finished off we would have won 3-0!

Fair point Rooster, Adelaide has a lot to learn when it comes to really getting vocal and showing their support. The Kashima fans were awesome! I found my foot tapping to the beat of their drum for most of the match! Having said that, still one of the loudest nights I've experienced at Hindmarsh. We need to make more noise when the boys are struggling though. It took Cristiano and Cassio (when he came off) to get the crowd going a bit. Hopefully the semi-final will show improvement. Promises to be a HUGE night! I can't wait! The Big O is a big loss, hopefully Mickey V can cover for him. Look for a big game from Agostino Mitsubishi! Ha, ha! I hope. He's due! Good to see the Cereal Offender redeem himself too!

On the chants, what do we break out with at Hindy?

How about some EPL rip offs like:

Yep, the United crowd was dead Wednesday night, until a goal was scored. The fantastic sounding and looking Kashima group put the rest of the crowd to shame. We could have won by a lot more, but glad to get the win.

I wish DA. Apart from the Gate mob, no one sings or chants or does anything...

We haven't the Football background of singing etc like the Euro / Sth American clubs...

Ok, that depresses me, so when I'm back in Sept next year, I'm getting an ST and will get rowdy. Singing at the football is part of the experience. You should leave with a hoarse throat and the satisfaction of being the 12th man on the pitch.

Fenerbache has the best crowds in Europe IMO:

Jumping:

More jumping:

And flares:

Fenerbacheeeeeeeee.....Adelaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide

Also love the way Fenerbache gets whole bays of supporters raising thier scarves and all pulsing them forward at the same time while chanting. Can't find a vid of them doing it in ly's UCL, but it was CLASS.

This decision by the FFA not to move A-League matches for AU is crap, do they want an A-League team in the Asian Champions Final or not? Back your comp and your teams and be serious or give it up, what a joke. Things would be different if it was Melb or Syd in the same position.

My thoughts exactly, and lo and behold the Uzbeks had their Rd 21 game postponed to enable them to concentrate on their semi final with us.

It seems like little is known about the Uzbeks other than Zico took over coaching in the last month and Rivaldo is playing there for an estimated $7m a year. Realistically, what are AU's chances of winning over two legs?

Chances. Next to none...but then again most though that the Antlers would get us.

Rivaldo is considered by just about every Brazilian as a god, but most non Brazilians & the Turks would remember the World Cup 2002. Hakan returning the ball admittedly with some speed back to him, but what an actor...can't remember here click HERE

The FFA will have egg on their face is they ever allow another team to post pone game such for such an Important tournament...

I wish United (and the media) would stop whinging about the schedule and just get on with it (imagine if they were playing a physical game!). If they don't like it, don't be a part of the Asia Champion's League.
