Nice to see some people rate us but i am going to continue to maintain our underdog status all year as much as it frustrates everyone else, as was the case last year. Easier to stay politically correct with comments that way.
Greenies will be chasing a new FF with Forthy heading back moonta way. Any names being thrown about yet.
As i may have mentioned in the seperate GG thread, we are very close to securing both Todd Shepphard back from centrals as well as Chad Parrish from Pire. Dont hold me to it yet but would be very suprised if it didnt turn out that way.
Ill admit i didnt follow much of d4 last year but from what i remember and have read so far we can put PAOC as the smart money early
PAOC will be hard to beat, injuries to some of their guns cost them dearly this year. Ryan Byrne is a great player - he kicked 3 against us on both occasions during the year, and we class that as a win !!!
Salisbury will be the ones to watch IMO. If they have a side even resembling their D4 side from 2007, then they will be right in things up to their eye balls.
Heres my top 5 for next year -
PAOC
Salisbury
Fitzroy
GG
Salisbury West
Then you add Greenies, Haven, Pooraka, Lutheran, CBC all fighting for a spot too. I reckon it will be a very open 2009 in D4 again.
