No not a dig at one day comp, cant believe i have to verify that more so that is why it is there for blokes that want to play that version no probs,we are now on the verge of being dictated to what they want us to play, surely the best thing to do is leave it as is.

what do you consider to be so pathetic about the one day (LO) comp? is it because it is a weak competition or do u dislike the short version?

Dont think anybody would like to see prem grade one dayers mate, that would be pathetic, understand where im coming from now Pumpa?

I hope so. The season is only two and a bit weeks away! Was worried we were going to have a repeat of the past two seasons.

Seems ok to me. A bit lopsided for a couple of our two day sides. One of our sides has 7 home games in the two day comp whilst the other who shares the same oval has only 4 and 6 very long road trips.

ive played an occasional match of LODs, you have players with different ability, good teams will have a couple of good players that could play in the club B, C or even A grade but want to play 1 dayers. And then you get you 1st year players, There some big wins each round. It still played pretty seriously thou. I played a match of LOA and that match was alot less organized and serious then LOD and standard was only a bit higher.

I can assure you that the standard of LOA is so far ahead of LOD it isn't even worth comparing.

Anyone hear how Grange have ended up for this season? 've heard Higgins, Bell, Whitehouse, Modra and others have retired...
AHOS have done well to keep Parko and Ozolins, also picked up a keeper from southern districts. We're looking forward to a good year at AHOS, especially if Rainbow Warrior decides to bowl QUICK!

Think Higgins is still playing. If he became state selector wouldnt have played but missed out i believe. Also think belly might be playing.
