There have been and always will be discrepencies in votes on every game, not everyone sees the game the same. This talk takes a bit away from the kid. The whole point is the umpires got it right over the course of the year. And you should know as a junior coach it doesn't matter about how much you win by in colts football. You can win by your 10 goals and give other lads a run, there is a thing called particiaption. So give the % issue a rest, as that is what most teams did against the lower sides .
Getting back to football and one thing for sure after the results of the weekend is Willunga are home and hose. Both games did not reach great heights and the Demons will step up this week, as they do this time of year. Strath may have celebrated a little too hard after toppling Willunga in the dead rubber.

Sorry, what points are clearly valid? That % is important in junior football and that because you win by 30 goals you have to have 1,2,3. It is minor and didn't affect the result. In the end the umpires got it right!

Toughcall, make sure you read posts clearly before jumping on someone.
LF only made 2 points. Not once did he mention anything about the importance of % in Junior football.
The 1st point he made was that it was hard to understand how a team has 47 scoring shots to zero and don't recieve the 1,2,3. The other point was about teams not scoring and players from that team getting votes. Kids or not, thats hard to understand.

Toughcall i could not agree with you more. No one see's the game the same and i like the 10goal percentage max rule cos it gives more ground time to the lesser likes. Pistilli is a very worthy winner. the games i saw him play, he wins plenty of the ball and uses it brilliantly on both sides of his body.
