I am thinking that the SAAFL will look to keep Heccies two sides at the same venue which is sort of understandable. However others would argue that the location of the B Grade should be determined by the A Grade on the basis of whos A Grade finished Higher (i.e at Glandore)
Any thoughts? does anyone actually know the rules or aware of any precedents?

I would think they would play at Heccies otherwise what advantage would they get for finishing second.

Not too sure, but say if it was a lockleys v houghton qualifying final in the b grade, the game would be played at Glandore. So I guess your B grade would get the home final, even though they finished lower.
More questions will be asked the following week in the B grade as well. Assuming CLG beat Trinity, will CLG's B grade get a home final the next week because their A grade will have one? Even though their final is a 1st semi and the A grade is a 2nd Semi (going by what you mentioned above about the location of the b grade being determined by the A grade) Heccies B grade could potentially play 2 sides at their home grounds, even after finishing 2nd!!

I think if that had happaned that would of been an exception, obviously that makes life so much easier with trainers, travel etc. But where it is possible the higher ranked team get a home final in the B grade otherwise it is a bit unfair if a team works hard to finish second or fourth and are not rewarded. I could be wrong but thats what i believe it was last year.

A grade Qualifying Final to be played - *wherever*
B grade Qualifying Final to be played before it at same ground.
If the A grade home team pays for the home final and their b grade just so happens to be in the final beforehand (even though their ladder position hasn't earnt them the right) then it's just tough luck for the other team i guess

Agree with that. If the clubs fork out x amount of cash for the privilege of home final they should be rewarded every possible way.

The League will endeavour to match teams from the same Member Club at the same venue. (eg
Division 2 Reserve first semi final may be played before a Division 2 second semi final if one or more of the teams are from the same Member Club – finishing highest A Division team gets preference).
and thus endeth the argument.. WOS will get the A grade qualifying/B grade Elimination.
