Is this correct, apparently he knocked another players teeth out while punching on and failed to turn up for the tribunal twice.

Not too sure how many game he got for it but if it was 14 weeks then he deserved it.
The McLaren player was hit from behind, three teeth were bent back as they were only held in by braces.
The dentist bill is in the thousands of dollars.
Goolwa didnt turn up to the tribunal but people from McLaren did.
The incident was also caught on video.

The Saints player must have struck the McLaren player because of the injury he sustained, however I think you will find that both players came from the ground with the blood rule so it seems that they both had a go.

But i also think they should limit the amount of non south australian players in the teams as this will give us a better chance of developing players, i mean who cares if you win the sa v vic game when half the side isn't even south australian!!
That is absolute crap. A lot of guys don't fill out until they are 19 or 20. Look at basketball and american football. Young players don't get recruited to the NBA or NFL until they've had a college career or, in cases like LeBron James, they are absolutely going to be a gun. In footy, the absolute guns who are playing SANFL by 18 usually progress on to the AFL, but the SANFL clubs need players who are not going to be poached by AFL clubs, guys who are coming out of U/19's and developing into SANFL standard players.
Great post Brock, the biggest down fall will be that the level of the SANFL will drop over the next decade, players who are in U18 and dont get recruited by a AFL club will more than likely return to a club in the country or amature leagues to play with mates or to go looking for $$$. This new age group suits national age restricted football and AFL clubs looking to draft kids from the SANFL but what affect will it have on the SANFL league and reserve grades?
