Brod, I agree it will be interesting, both Barossa Papers are written by Angaston People, and I think they would both be pretty embarresed tonight. Both are passionate Angaston folks but even they are both wise enough to know that this was just crazy. Saw the face of one of the scribe's and he didn't look impressed. I think if you go back through this thread the Angaston Style (whther by coaches instruction or not) was under some serious scrutiny and surely now it must be acted upon by those in power at either the Club or Association, It is not acceptable in this day an age that this type of thing can happen. You could almost suggest that the Angaston committee are almost liable for this to occur again, this has happen in at least three of the last 4 times these two clubs have played, and members of the committee knew about it. It could even mean Kennedy will not even be able to achieve the ultimate for a key forward and kick 100 goals for the season, only 8 to get but he will be out for at least one if not two games and that only leaves one game to kick 8. The player concerned has already been suspended this season and with a yellow card earlier in the game and then this...it will be a long spell/suspension coming up for him!
It bewilders many that with such a young squad that this type of play could be condoned by the Angaston Football Club, and then to even see the negativity of the flood after that was just amazing to see, at one stage only one play for Angaston forward of not only the center line but almost the defensive 50 metre arc!
As for the player he is talking, will spend at least tonight in hospital with scans during the week
