Despite what anyone thinks about Bay 13 from what I have heard about their behaviour at the Nuri game could not be excused by anyone, that is why they have a ban on the tent. Urinating on caravans and then abusing the occupents probably was never going to go down too well. Appartently there is going to be a barrier built now between the oval and the caravan park. It won't matter anyway, they will just support without the tent.

perhaps they should ring Kenny & get a bay 13 porta-loo

JD after what was explained to me what they did at Nuri I think they should have simply handed out some suspensions to the some of the offenders and then the well behaved ones can continue to utilise the stupid tent. The club that I was involved with dealt with them quite well, after one year they left behind one hell of a mess we simply placed rubbish bins around them and they where instructed to clean up which they did very well. Apparently Freeling are searching far and wide now, last I heard they where looking at someone up at Min Man, I'm not sure who but one would assume it is their current coach.

Childs has been ok at Willaston. He came to the club and they lost 6 on the trot. He was consistently one of the best performers over that time though. He has been used as a key backman but has also spent time on the footy. He will be important for them with the run home toward finals.

Thanks Slipper! Is he holding down a key position? I know the few league games he played for Sturt it was a back pocket on a tall or resting ruck. Unsure as to where he played in the reserves.

He usually plays at centre-half back. But he is slightly undersized for a key backman so he is often used as a sweeper on a back flank. But the Willaston coach makes changes to the line-up all the time during a match. I think he has almost played every position on the ground.

Was at willaston last sat, it will be a shame if they get the gf & are rewarded for having a good playing surface and nothing else, the facilities there are ordinary, it would be a great site for a landfill.

The winners are

Tanunda V Ango
GC v Nuri
Bar v Kap
Willa V Sth

JD what do you want?, the MCG to be brought into the league or something. Every ground has some faults but the fact is the league has to share the finals around. Willaston would be fine for the GF, they just have to set it up properly. We all complain about GC & Souths grounds, but get over it. It sounds as though if you can't park the car on the fence and watch the game in perfect conditions you are not happy. if people aren't happy with Souths viewing, well stand somewhere else then. Tanunda's facilities are great but the ground is s""t, as is Ango when it gets wet. We could go through all the grounds and pick faults, so stop whingeing and just watch the footy.

Wonder now that Barossa will get double chance if they dont rest some players and " let " kapunda win so they make the four
Would be sweet revenge For Ryan Nelson and the club to keep Willaston out of the four
Gee wouldn't a few league Directors also get upset along with the Willaston MUPPETS on the hill

South Gawler vs Willaston
Just to delay the final ground allocation for another week the Willaston boys will tease the big kuhna again!

Angaston vs Tanunda
Danger game, Angaston under strength, wet weather coming and Angaton apparently exposed the Soft under belly of Tanunda to go down by 8 goals in the first round. Interesting to see who has done their homework the better! I'm can't get to the game so will look forward to seeing the results Saturday night.

Barossa District vs Kapunda
Bit of an upset why? why Not? Are they playing at next years Grand Final venue?

Nuriootpa vs Gawler Central
draw, Nuri have got all the caravaneers to come to the game and watch instead of the spectators going over to the vans this weekend. Sappy BOG again and casue the committee even more grief.

Blockie I went to the caravan & camping show today and there where some rumblings about bay 13 at Nuri (only kidding). Blockie do you really think it is a danger game for you? Ango have a few out including the amazingly fair Bascombe, you guys will thump them so bad that even the goats will reject them on sat night. I know Greeny is out but with Wall and a few others back this week and the weather will be good the score may once again resemble another blockie flogging but don't worry Media Mike will put a very positive spin on yet another loss (isn't that right JD). Kapunda over Barossa, not impossible and the theory of stuffing Willaston does actually have some legs but I think the Bulldogs will not want to lose as they know that they can beat both of them in the finals. Perhaps Barossa would prefer to see Willaston in the finals so that their agony is prelonged for 1 or 2 more weeks.

Skip, Ango will get a pumping that even media mike can't spin, nuri will win to upset the ppl who want Lee gone. Barossa, I'm not sure Nelson could manufacture a tank if he wanted to & the willaston ferals should trump the Lions ferals. Since you like rumours from poor sources, apparently willaston have already approached scott leal

Blockie I can explain. I figured since I have given ango such a hard time over the past month perhaps I better go watch one of their games as I have not seen them play all year and I was in the area working this morning. I paid my $6 to drive in and see a massive brawl break out in B grade (started by Ango) and then witnessed one of Ango players kick a blockie in the head while he was on the ground (the Ango player was reported and red carded). Then it got worse the A grade started and from the opening siren Ango went the man, especially on Kennedy and once again an Ango player was sent off (Small). This went on with Harvey the sniper taking out Blockie players left right and centre. Then it really got ugly when Small in one of the most dirty incident's I have ever seen took out Kennedy. Play was stopped for a good 30 mins as the Ambo's came and picked up Kennedy. The weak umpires did not report this idiot Small but played a free kick for high contact? For once in my life I found myself barracking for the blockies as they then totally demolished the dirty panthers.

For the Ango love fest on this site you should be ashamed of your team today, I tried to give you a go today and drove into one of the dirtiest performances I have ever seen in this league and you guys still did not have your dirtiest player on the field. What happened you cannot defend and to the blockies credit they just went on with the game and never retaliated and flogged you. Whats worse I paid to go into your ground and then spent money at your bar and on food. Small should be given a club imposed suspension for what he did as the umpires where too weak to do anything, if your coach had any respect he would have dragged him. I look forward to hearing your responses.

Blockie how is Kennedy? he did not look good so I hope that he recovers to kick his 100.

The Skip has spoken.

Brod, I agree it will be interesting, both Barossa Papers are written by Angaston People, and I think they would both be pretty embarresed tonight. Both are passionate Angaston folks but even they are both wise enough to know that this was just crazy. Saw the face of one of the scribe's and he didn't look impressed. I think if you go back through this thread the Angaston Style (whther by coaches instruction or not) was under some serious scrutiny and surely now it must be acted upon by those in power at either the Club or Association, It is not acceptable in this day an age that this type of thing can happen. You could almost suggest that the Angaston committee are almost liable for this to occur again, this has happen in at least three of the last 4 times these two clubs have played, and members of the committee knew about it. It could even mean Kennedy will not even be able to achieve the ultimate for a key forward and kick 100 goals for the season, only 8 to get but he will be out for at least one if not two games and that only leaves one game to kick 8. The player concerned has already been suspended this season and with a yellow card earlier in the game and then this...it will be a long spell/suspension coming up for him!

It bewilders many that with such a young squad that this type of play could be condoned by the Angaston Football Club, and then to even see the negativity of the flood after that was just amazing to see, at one stage only one play for Angaston forward of not only the center line but almost the defensive 50 metre arc!

As for the player he is talking, will spend at least tonight in hospital with scans during the week

Shaun Childs is a backman, preferably Half Back, don't waste your time playing him on the ball.
I can see why Willaston's lost so many games, too many positional changes.

Blockie I'm bewieldered to read in the paper today that Small got into the best players. I could count on one hand how many posesions he picked up, he hit Kennedy in the head more times. It just shows the lack of respect Ango are showing. It may also indicate that he achieved the task that was given to him. This mad coach they have got needs to go. I feel sorry for their young players who where all shell shocked after the incident, players like young Pech (no. 8) who is and was fantastic and young Zimmerman he just looked shocked. This mad coach is imprinting into their young minds that this stuff is alright. Just because you walk onto the field it does give you the right to belt someone. It will be interesting to see what is written in the Barossa based papers this week and since both those guys use this forum I'm sure they know that we are watching them. I will also be interested to see if the BLG follows up on this shocking incident.
