Amatuer league are doing it now, where the higher finishing side can play the game at home if they choose. Seems to be working really well, and even if some venues aren't of the best standard, the atmosphere of just being a final seems to be generated anyway.
Finishing top instead of 2nd, or 3rd instead of 4th, has to come with some sort of incentive. Pag, why should they be rewarded?, if they're good enough to finish top they don't need another advantage on top of a double chance, I'm not in favour of gifting the premiership to anyone, even if it's my club
