Are you saying Pulteney made the whole thing up, Ouzo ? If so, why did they target the Haven player in question ?

Barry hall king hit an opponent, 1) video evidence against him 2) staker knocked out cold on the spot 3) extremly bad record against his name.
And rowland 1) no video evidence let alone an umpire that seen it 2) opponent played on and no visual damage in the way of blood or dizziness 3) Rowlands has a clean record
yet both same penalty can some one talk me through this

You cannot compare AFL penalties to SAAFL penalties.

Felch, If this is allowed to continue and one of your players is next, I would love to hear your reaction then. In fact why don't Joompin and myself go watch one of your games then a month later write a couple of letters and have poor fisty rubbed out for eight matches. That sounds ridiculous but it is not out of the realm of possibility.
ps. I wouldn't do that to you fisty, your brother maybe.

Ouzo, we had it happen to our players with the urinating incident. Im not saying its right, or wrong - i dont know enough about the incident.
I already said , i dont agree with putting in reports or investigations after the fact, but also, i havent been in the situation where we could have (except for the PAOC incident of a spectator running on the ground, which we left to rest).
Look at it from this view - Pulteney say Haven bloke hit their guy, backed up by 2 witnesses statements. Haven say he didnt hit him (im guessing he pleaded not guilty?). The Pulteney player has a broken jaw. Umpire didnt see anything. Going by that, 8 games seems harsh, i admit.
Not when you compare it to other SAAFL suspensions handed down though.
Did you blokes supply any witnesses ? As we found out a few weeks back, the investigation to actual tribunal hearing process can happen very quickly (immediately following !) and if you arent prepared, then it counts against you.
