Brookman has just returned from 2 years overseas and although he has been serviceable to good, it was surprising that he was selected to lead the Ruck. I can't quite work out what the issue is with Bode at Morphett Vale but I'm sure SFL would have had him pencilled in at the end of last season.
Bode didn't have enough of his mates playing in the seniors Association side. Big Fish in Little Pond Syndrome. Happy to dominate Morphies U18s rather than play against men in SFL or even better himself at SANFL[/quote]
Poor comment IMO- what is the difference with young Bodey wanting to play with his mates in the U/18s and the heap of blokes who play B/C grade every week because they cant be arsed training and just want to play a game with their mates? (There is a plethora of players in the lower SFL senior grades who could play A grade if they really wanted to).
FFS Fitzy was languishing in the Porties B grade before he suddenly found the fire and jumped from there to A grade to SANFL to AFL in 3 years... Nothing to say Bode cant do the same thing, IF that is the direction he wants to take.
I say good luck to the kid- he won an A Grade best on ground in a winning Grand Final team. Something I never came close to and I dare say no-one who posts on here has got close to.
