We had the 3 weaker leagues in one group and the stronger 3 in the other. Lincoln weren't good enough on Saturday and deserved their result, Mid West i'm not so sure about. From what i've heard they might have been a little unlucky to been pulled back onto the field and if that hadn't happened GF wouldn't have won and so on and so forth. Not sure what the whole point of this post was, but maybe some more thought into designating groups in future years and also the fact that Mid West could possibly be just as deserving of the trophy as GF

I was just thinking why we couldn't have played Far West on Saturday.tiger07andbeyond wrote:Im glad Campbell didnt break Burgoynes goal kicking tally of 14 in a Mortlock match as apparently George did it in the final match against an EP full back. Nothing against Campbell but it would have been a total injustice for him to equal or break the record given the opposition they had and the fact no one cared about the match.
Anyone else think the same?
