Its quite simple, build your metabolism up over a lengthy period of time eating heaps of fat, drinking heaps of booze, doing no exercise, etc.
Then go slow on the booze, and watch closely the fat of everything you eat. I don't eat anything with more than 5g of fat in it for a meal and am eating healthily too.
Also no need to go hungry, Im eating more now but doing it continuously instead of big meals and am eating stuff with no fat it in it, it keeps me feeling full.
Also drinking at least 3-4 litres of water a day to detox the system.
Last time I did it I would have lost about 25kgs of fat in less than a 6 month period, hopefully will do the same this time. :D

Also helps to give up smoking, fatty foods and lots of booze at the same time that way one specific thing doesn't really bother you or stay on your mind.

Good call about the Roo fellas, might buy some tomorrow, afterall its what my ancestors naturally ate.
I don't really steer clear of meat or anything, I just buy very lean red meat or eat chicken or fish.

This has been a great exercise in teaching the kids how evil alcohol is, the kids couldn't believe how bright and well I looked this morning as opposed to a normal Saturday afternoon, I think the kids have sworn permanently off alcohol seeing how much better I look/feel without it! :D

I've eaten Roo a few times but I find it a bit strong. I don't like Venison much either, and frog's legs are dead nauseating!
I find Roo more acceptable if eaten with something like and onion and beetroot sautee to balance its flavour, but I'd rather eat Charolais or Gelbvieh for a lower fat beef.

One trick I've heard a few times on tv segments about healthy eating and weightloss is, if you can, try and buy a smaller dinner plate than you currently use for your everyday meals. If you're trying to cut down on the quantity of food you eat putting a smaller portion onto a smaller plate fools your brain and therefore your body into thinking you've eaten more.

Something else that those of you with kids might want to try, hinted at by the Wedgemeister, is to get your kids involved by turning them into the food police...could also be a good way to get them interested in what they are eating and nutrition etc which is something they no longer get taught in schools here, although parent power and Jamie Oliver are trying to change it back.

To those who have reached their weightloss wall...don't give up...it's a pain in the a*se and takes time but you will get past it...believe me if I can anyone can

1.
CAFFIENE
________

Often mentioned becoz of its badness but can be a valueable asset in weight loss.
Quite simply if you are playing sport, going to the gym, walking, or exercising it pays
to have a cuppa coffee about 30 minutes before the exercise.
This will stimulate your metabolism and you can further utilise your exercising regime.
For those who dont drink coffee, green tea is also useful.
