A3 - Hard to pick this one. Ingles, Ports & Reynella would have all pushed for finals spots in A2 this year. They are a class above the rest. Ingles have only dropped one game this season and deserve favouritism but their bowling line up is suspect. They will need to post a big score and if they bat their full quota they will nudge 400. Ports & Reynella are both coming off shock losses. Ports batting lineup has a lot more depth and that should get them over the line. Gabb is Reynella's key. Best batsman in the A3 comp and scores very quickly but if he goes cheaply I think Reynella will struggle.

Basically you show leadership and get things right and the job is as easy or hard as you make it and unfortunatly our departing GM made the job extremely difficult for himself through stuff ups and lack of knowledge with ATCA cricket.

I saw they faced 4 overs at the end of the day on Saturday and ended up on 2/12. Spoc's faced 12 overs in the second dig and ended up 0/57, giving them enough bonus points to stay up in A1. I know it's a long season and shouldn't come one moment by would of thought Walkies may of taken the long handle to gain some additional bonus points.
I'm sure if they knew they would have. Bet they never thought SPOC would beat Brighton particularly as Brighton was playing for a finals spot. Would have come as quite a shock to Walkerville i imagine.
Why leave it to chance, why wouldnt you swing anyway last round, cricket is the type of game where things like that happen. I wouldnt say Brighton are that godo a side that it is expected that they would beat SPOC, especialyl in a one day game. When things come dow nthat fine why leave it to chance. Give yourself the best shot regardless.

I understand that Walkerville have asked the ATCA to amend the result of the SPOC v Brighton match thus enabling Walkerville to avoid relegation, with SPOC instead being relegated - to be discussed at the next ATCA meeting on 12th? May.

On what basis are they asking for the result to be amended?
