Both have had a good preseason and played well in the trials. Curyer came off with an ankle injury during last Saturdays trial but shouldn't be a problem for round 1

Bassplayer, does it look like Baxter and Dean will get much of a go out at South ressies or would you expect them to play majority of the year with the Lions?

Will struggle against the top 8 sides?? How many sides up there? Who won't he struggle against in that case?
In that league, which from all reports would be no better than div 3-4, he should be okay...

Righto Boozehound, so you have never ever seen an SFL game? Maybe you should head down South and check one out before just labelling us a div 3/4 league!
14 teams just so you know, and with various ins from the SANFL, SAAFL, GSFL, and apparently as far as Port Lincoln for season 2008, you'd have to say up to 6 clubs are in with a red hot shot, and some of the recent celler dwellers are showing big signs of improvement. Boozehound you are welcome to head down south for Round 1, i reccomend Brighton vs Reynella or Porties vs Cove. Also dont be alarmed if you hear car horns and rampant applause when a goal is kicked - we still let people park their cars around the oval, it adds to the atmosphere! From all reports you dont even have atmosphere at your SAAFL grounds?!
