Valley had to win there last 4 games to make the 4 doesn't strike me as a position to rest players as when it may come down to % you need to beat Hackham by as much as you can because you know everyone else will be trying to.

How is it surprising i said that? It makes perfect sense to not play all of ur guns in those games. The only thing u get out of a game like that is bad habits and injuries.
To be in that position in the 1st place is not good, and to drop games u shouldnt have puts pressure on the side like what happened to the Valleys. That is not the February comps fault, thats a mental lapse or perhaps the side not being as good as it needs to be to consistently beat sides it should. That is not an attack on Happy Valley either it is a broad comment about football sides that dont win games they should win.

Interesting to hear where your team has been last couple of years on the ladder? You don't go out to drop games that you expect to win do you but it happens. It's not unlucky if you have a chance to do something about it.

Were Brighton a better side than Reynella last year? probably not but at the end of the season they had the fitness and skill to run over them and the week before, Happy Valley. I would have had both Reynella and Valley as harder teams during the year. If it is not for weary legs then you can't tell me a more experienced Reynella and Valley side would get beaten by a young inexperienced Bombers side?
