TTG all out 110. Sturt were 3/75 chasing but collapsed and fell one run short.
Important result for TTG. Were sitting bottom on zero points. Maybe an outright opportunity tomorrow

Granted, the team that has lost all 4 games won on first innings (by one run) in one of those games.
It still doesn't seem right though...

Another gripe, of a similar nature.
Kensington and Sturt gifting Port and Adelaide points in farcical outright results today. You can call it smart captaincy, manipulating the system, but there must be something on the line or we just see reckless run chases and manipulated results.
If the team that wins first innings loses outright, they should surrender 10 points to the opposition, so each team walks away with 10.

If you lost points for losing second innings then these games would be over well before tea on the second day, hands would be shook and people would then complain about games not being played for longer.
Surely playing meaningful cricket to get every point you can each game til late on the second day is the better option.

Sturt and Kensi only took 6 and 5 1st innings points respectively, as well as declaring their 1st innings totals closed at 0/0. Manipulated, contrived, gifted, whatever words you want to use. If you're 5/86 and 6/30 you don't deserve to be given a second chance to get back in the game.
I'd rather see the lower order need to dig in to salvage a draw, as Notherns did yesterday, or Kensington and Sturt bowl the teams out and if good enough, bowl them out again, whether that is by declaring to provide incentive or enforcing a follow on.
