Embarrassing is sledging and being condescending to a 16yo girl, in section 8.
Embarrassing is your captain not stepping in to say anything.
Your club C777 thinks way too much of itself.
Jeez that's pretty poor.

Only 1 game from 4 played this round, the other 3 won by forfeit.
Cove have forfeited 3 games now, Plympton 2, and now Porties join the list.
Playing on the Test match weekend has caused havoc.
Sheidow Park 5ths have now forfeited 4 games in a row. Surely it's time to pull this team out.
Keswick III another team that had to forfeit this round in section 7.
Time for the association to make some decisions.

Brutally bad umpiring is absolutely killing the game.
Soon it will boil over and someone will get hurt.
Blatant cheating and bad sportsmanship is rife.
No one else writes on here, so it won't matter anyway, but it helps me get it off my chest.

A punch was thrown by a WYC player at a Coromandel umpire on Day 1 of the round just gone. Members of the Exec saw the footage of the punch being thrown and allowed the player to continue playing. It’s a Level 4 offence. Should have been removed but wasn’t. Absolutely gutless at best and bordering on negligent to not enforce the laws of the game. Tribunal is on Tuesday night.

What we read into that is throwing a punch at an umpire is less of an offence than verbal. And yes, the footage was viewed and because the punch didnt connect properly, it’s apparently ok.
The Coromandel players admitted their wrongdoing and that they weren’t angels. The WYC players made up completely fabricated lies and then denied their part in it and the tribunal bought it. Even after viewing the footage.
The ASCA Exec are a kangaroo court and a joke.

The tribunal who made these decisions must be watching the AFL too much where striking gets less than a bump or calling someone names.
WYC committee should come down on their own player's harder than the useless ASCA executive committee.
Verbal abuse is not condoned, but in the 5 games I've played in this season thus far, the blatant cheating and horrific sportsmanship has led to some near stoushes. I've played in sections 7, 8 & 9, it's rife everywhere.
