Now they have the problem of where they spend their budget at the next election.
At best they could hope to win back 3-4 marginal seats, in doing that they're basically gambling on which ones they think they can win and they pour their resources into them. Worst case is they take their eyes off a marginal seat they hold and lose one of them.
The next Liberal premier is probably just getting dropped to school in Mummy's Cayenne Turbo.

There's nothing good in being a politician.
Except, it seems;
1. Great super; which you can access before normal people even though you usually get another job from your mates still in there
2. You get to bypass the normal investment lending requirements of banks
3. Qantas Chairmans Lounge
