I don't know you blokes? is it a good thing? i realise Gav and Che are exceptional players and are a wealth of knowledge but perhaps just looking beyond the face of it, is it a good thing? are there fringe players at longies who wont get a run in the A-Grade Final series, granted Longies B-Grade will play and these players will no doubt get a run in the magoo's but it's not the same. or is the Rooster just talking nonsense?
Some Tough questions troops!! All will be revealed at twenty to three tomorrow.

A couple of things from the weekend: United pumping Mallala was unexpected but not Gav kicking a bagfull. Despite this lets hope Longies dont destroy their own club for what will only be a maximum of a five game cameo. As for Channel 7 being there, the only one who benefits from it is Gavin as im sure zero focus will be on the where and who he is playing. Does anyone know of the reaction of the bloke who was left out for him to play. Cant imagine it would have been all that well received. Might be an easy recruit for someone next year![]()
As for Virginia. The boys on the field try hard but it must be difficult for them every week to rock up knowing that they are more than likely going to be pumped. Their supporters love to give players are hard time from the opposition but are reluctant to cheer when their own team do something good. They are also no where to be seen in the club rooms after the game with the Hummocks more than tripling their numbers. Disappointing boys. I feel sorry for the old blookes in their running the bar.
As for the blokes who just want to do circle work in their cars during the game, seriously

I'm sure every spectator would agree that it was a big buzz to see a Brownlow Medalist in action, even if it was only Country Footy like you say. I'd be surprised if Wangas lines up for enough games to qualify for the finals, so don't lose too much sleep over it! Catty would be stoked to line up against Gav, and Damo Case would be asking for an autograph if his shoulder wasn't rooted!
I'm sure the Eagles would love to play the Roosters seeing they haven't been able to knock the mighty Eagles off for years! But I'm with you Wedgie, it would be funny to see the much fancied Peckers miss out on September action.
