The problem is people's interpretations of 60kmh are different. I know my speedo is almost 10% out, as are almost everyone else's. So I will happily sit on 65 knowing I am doing 60.
Furthermore it is just a courtesy thing. If you can be in the left lane but you decide to be in the right lane, because fk the dude behind me, I think that is just as wrong as speeding
Its true, speedos read a higher speed than you're actually doing, but that still doesnt matter.
60kms is the speed LIMIT. Both lanes are equal, so you can sit on 55kms in either.
If i want to sit in the right lane early so o dont have to get in between f**kwits speeding in the right hand land when i get near my turn, I will. And Im entitled to do that.
If you're running late enough to have to speed somewhere, its your problem, not mine.
I live 15 mins from work, leave 30 mins before I have to be there. Havent been late in years.
