Why should the AFL clubs get a cut? The SANFL won't own their licenses by sale time, and the land was owned before the AFL clubs were created/introduced.

I dont think Benny was saying they would. I think he was referring to the benefit the AFL clubs would recieve by the move to Adelaide Oval.

Agreed- I think Mirvac did an excellent job with Waverley and there is no reason footy park couldnt turn out to be something similar.
I wonder if the SANFL will lobby with the state govt to have a portion of a stand heritage listed, similar to the KG Luke stand at Waverley?

Might be tough here at the moment for a major development. The SA economy isnt exactly grabbing ya by the nuts. Also with the expected flop caused by holdens pulling out its going to.be very slow for a while. What im saying is it may not get the legs.
