Got to wonder about the orientation of West Adelaide. Gave the Foxtel Cup a red hot crack and came away with the chocolates, but at what cost to their premiership chances? Certainly the club needed the prizemoney, and Collo did his best to manage the demands on his players, but clearly this could not counter the effects of a season in which the only scheduled rest occurred during the state match weekend. West was badly in need of a rest and it showed today; particularly in the final quarter when the Bloods were walloped in every aspect of the game. It is a sad indictment on the state of the sport in this country if a team is prepared to lengthen the odds of it taking out its domestic premiership in favour of chasing quick cash.

11 players in North's side today are players that couldn't get games for Port, Sturt, Centrals, Eagles, etc.
No salary cap issues at Prospect, just heart.
Gee you guys jump ship quickly.
5 weeks ago these guys were a gutless rabble who didnt deserve to play finals according to most North fans
We weren't Jim. We got belted by Sturt and Glenelg, and threw away a double chance.
