Don't let the facts get in the way of a rant.
Rogers has scored slightly more than Hughes in the series so far, with 81 of Hughes' 4 innings total of 83 coming in one innings.
There's no escaping the fact that Rogers had a shocker at Lords, except that included another dodgy LBW.
That won't convince the knee-jerk reactionaries who want him dropped, but he's a better player than Hughes.
In any case, Smith's injury concern may make the decision a lot easier for the selectors.
