They just wanted it more than us and got the two points, we were hardly in the contest all day, they did it so easy for most of the game. We had absolutely no help from the umpires though, they f**king killed us. I think most of the umpires we've had this year have been pretty good, the ones today were awful.

To the Elizabeth player that hit our captain today. The guy that you hit is a true gentleman of the game and of the Kenilworth club. He enjoys his footy and plays for the love of the game. I hope this injury that he copped doesnt mean he has an early retirement to football.
It was a another good day for the club with 3 wins again. Which is 3 weeks in a row now.

No one deserves multiple facial fractures from a hit behind the play for "starting on a young bloke". What did he do to this young bloke that condones the Elizabeths players actions?

Like I said, I don't condone this either, nor did I see it or was at the game. But I was just putting it out there so people got the other side of the story, Although the guy received facial fractures, I believe it was a single punch, I don't think he was king hit, although behind play they were facing each other. The Eliz player was trying to stick up for his mate. Maybe he didn't think he would cause so much damage.
I'm not sure what the checking ID's has to do with your point though sorry

Im just saying that everyone on the field is equal, no matter their age. If they're on the field, they shouldnt be treated differently. So the fact the culprit was sticking up for a young bloke isnt much of an excuse. It doesnt change my opinion if everything people are saying is true.
Ive played seniors exclusively since I was 14, and never expected to be treated differently to the senior blokes.
Anyway, if he punched him, he deserves a few games at least. If it was a football incident I'd feel a lot differently.
