Kells is one of the hardest to stop due to his agilty and running power. It depends on what we are looking at, but the McDonnell brothers have booted a lot of goals at Mitchell Pk (some 350 between them in 2011 and 12). Different level to the best I agree but so, so, so important to their clubs success.

Spot on, Yank.
I just rate the fact that Litster and Kells have been consistently kicking goals year in, year out for the better part of a decade.

Has been the leading goal kicker in every season he's played in either D2 and D1 since 2001.
Only year he wasn't was 2000 in D3 when he was second. Has kicked well over 1000 goals in the top grades of the league including over 100 in a few seasons.
Doesn't seem to have the speed, agility, leap or even the vice-like hands anymore, but still kicks goals!

Ok, let me clarify what I meant. I'm not knocking the choice of lister as the best forward in the game today, I'm just clarifying if people are calling him the best of the last 10 years, or the best in the game today, or both maybe.
Drew would have been #1 forward in the league up until 3-4 years ao, but reckon age is catching up with him and isn't as dominant as he use to be. The old drew would already have 60 odd goals this time of year if rocs were travelling as well as they are now. Not saying though that his 40 goals isn't still a good effort and still deserves a mention and may be some people's 1st choice still too.
When I see Kells named and his running power and agility both mentioned, it makes me think people are talking about years passed, as I doubt Kells would be considered among best in the game today.
