He had a reputation around that time for inviting those he saw as slackers to meet him behind the Grandstand.
Struth! I didn't know he was THAT way inclined! (mind you, he DID spend a fair bit of time at Genelg)

The way some of the players have been playing and some of the efforts given you would have to come to the conclusion of not playing for the coach! When I say not playing I mean they are just not showing any faith by their actions.
Nearly every game I've been to this season you just get that feeling that all is not well.
I never thought I'd say this but the sooner coach and club part ways the better! Don't let it fester until the end of the season as it will not help one bit!
Last year we were not great but at least we were right in most games we played, this season is way worse and it just has to stop!!!!!!!!
From what I've heard we stand to lose a few players at seasons end so any inaction could cost us big time.

Cross got a lot of ball deep in defence and butchered it a lot - he is a better player than that!

Too many good players ( Senior and Junior ) are no longer there and when you are on the wrong side of the coach you really struggle to get back . I think that whilst Ron has been a good coach , my personal opinion is the that game has passed him .
