I'd be pretty confident Adelaide FC were not as set on having a reserves side back then either, but they are now. WOW! How things change.

The SANFL sell of the AFL license, The crows and power move their reserves players interstate, and the SANFL is removed from the SMA. It will be interesting to see how long the SANFL will survive without any involvement from the AFL
no matter how much you want it to happen it wont!!!!
but if your so against the AFL why wouldn't you want it to happen, oh thats right you need the AFL to survive.
I also see your (and all port supporters on safooty for that matter) are still refusing to answer what actual benefits there is to the SANFL clubs and supporters to have the AFL reserves sides in the league comp.
Your silence on this really says it all.

Yes, we all owe you our sincere thanks.
And as such, we are happy to 'roll over' & allow you to treat what remains of our 136 year old competition with further contempt, by allowing you to place your 'development squad' in our competition as well as keep your Junior Development Zones for your own selfish needs... Pfft
The audacity of your arrogance is reason why you will never gain the supporter base you so desperately desire & require for financial security.
The football public will never embrace you like they have the Crows because you are not a team for 'All South Australians' - you never have been.
Take your license back in November - you are welcome to it because you will then become the AFL's problem not ours.
You have no place in our competition - neither does the Adelaide Football Club.
The SANFL owes you nothing.

I can not believe the ignorance and arrogance of the Port people posting on this thread. If it was not so serious it would be laughable.
This beenreal peanut must be on drugs !
Port continue to stab the SANL in the back time and time again and now as a dying one club they want to bring the SANFL down with them.
Port Power have destroyed the Magpies and now they want to destroy the SANFL.
Keith Thomas you can not expect people to take you seriously ? It really is laughable. Is this April 1st ?

how have the power destroyed the magpies? How have we stab the SANFL in the back? How can you talk about us being 1 club in 1 sentence and then talk about us being 2 in the next?

it will make both the crows and power stronger teams, and like every team when they are going better then crowd numbers are up, which then turns into more revenue being, which then means more money for the SANFL clubs. Especially the way the SANFL is being ran I'd be taking as much money as I could at the moment.

Well of course he is not going to ban them if they are all playing for the Magpies under his model yet last season the majority of the Power listed players with other SANFL Clubs were banned! What a f**kin hypocrite! I will wait with much interest as to what the PAFC does this year as North again will have Blee, Moore and Stewart all qualified and suprisingly none of them were able to play last year along with the farcial Aaron Young "leg injury" excuse but he was able to run in the AFL GF sprint during the SANFL finals. Integrity my arse - liars and cheats!
