Player photos at Rosewater last night, and it was apparent that the face of Rosewater Hugh Johnson-Schroeder was feeling the pinch of living up to his pin up boy status, taking plenty of time to do his hair and having 8 photos taken before finally being satisfied with one

At least he had his photo taken, Rumbelow wouldn't have his done cos he didn't have time to run a rinse through his grey hair.

The master will be out on the field tomorrow, only the apprentice will be in the coaches box.

watched lockleys and mitchell park lockleys were to good. The best player for mitchell park #8 was sitting on the flank.I don't know what mitchell park coaches are thinking when you have your best player sitting there doing nothing.Get the guy in the middle where the ball is won and you might start being mote competive tha you are

A least they were consistent even when they were wrong. Making decisions to far from the play but certainly seemed close enough to hand out plenty of 25's for backchat.

Can't say I've ever seen a yellow card given to a player from the winning team after the final siren.

Our defence played exceptionally well. Forwards needed to make more of their chances, 5 goal 15 makes it hard to win.

Whilst there is another half of the season to play, I would imagine today is a fair bit sweeter than the previous seven for the second leading goal scorer of Div 6
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

Your right, they barely moved out of the centre square. Very low scoring in good conditions and had BOS kicked straight they would have taken the points

One player doesn't win a game. I hear what you are saying gutterboy but when he slots in the middle he cops a run with who is happy to concede a handful of possessions and #8 becomes a negative. Guess the coaches are just trying to work out his best scenario, don't be too critical. Fact is if he was in a top 3 team he would be the best wingman in Div 6 by a mile, all due respect to the quality of the comp. :)

I agree 1 player doesn't win a game...but playing him on the flank when mitchell park could use his run and drive.Doesnt make any sense to me.Should be in the middle or on the wing using his leg speed and getting heap of the ball...but playing up forward is a waste....

He has played half back the past few. As I said gutterboy they are clearly trying to shake the tag. Yes he should be in the play and learn how to deal with it, but he's just a kid. :)

Mazey has been in Mitchell Parks best 3 weeks in a row. He is an amazing player but when he plays in the guts the opposition dedicate a single player to completely and utterly destroy his day. Mawson Lakes did it to perfection and in turn gave said tagger BOG.

So you have the option of playing him in the middle and having a massively nullified influence, getting frustrated, not enjoying his footy, or you can put him either down back to get some run and class or up forward where yep, he will get a close checking opponent but his 10 touches will be deadly.

With a bit more midfield depth we could probably get away with Mazey or Weekley copping tags in the midfield, as then blokes like Daish, Simper and Francis can run amok, but of course they havent been playing.

Did it rain where you guys played sprint? Low scoring if it was dry. I saw Brincat was best. Did he get the job on Harvey? Noticed he didn't any goals?

didnt rain..an ugly game from start to finish as a spectacle..3 goals each at half time on a beautiful day..lions really struggled to come up again after last weeks shoot out and the hounds came to play with a well organised "shut down" game plan and were unlucky not to win..harmer stood harvey and he got 2 goals not zero..we were glad to come away with the points for sure..

Ugly probably not the word i'd use Zed. I thought it was an absorbing contest where opportunities had to be taken. From what I saw and heard from the sideline it seemed a couple of players were frustrated by the 'shut down' game, or whatever you want to call it, as they maybe didn't have it all their own way as they had been used to for a few weeks.

This division is tight as in my view and expecting a strong contest from uniteds this week to close out the first half of the season.
