Not happy they lost but it is a good indication that the comp will be an even one that anyone can still win, as SDemon mentioned they do have this belief that they are now a good chance for a flag, but this may have changed some opinions after the loss and it just won't happen for them and they will have to work still to get it. I honestly though they looked that much better than I had seen after the game but maybe we were also
Just that much worse.

I agree, I went and watched the game on Friday night and thought Salisbury were pretty impressive. The gullies team is made up of mostly reserve players from last year and new players with only a very small handful from the div7 grand final.
People like Steve Daniels will play mostly B's this year and would think that it's his only game in div8 for the year.
Definitely no need for people to panic...

Just with the D grade, I know it's still early in the season and I applaud BL for getting a D grade up and running but after a 268 point win to our D's today how long will the BL D grade last? I wish the best of luck to them, obviously they have great numbers but just how long will guys put up with heavy defeats?

The fix is in. I see Gullies are throwing matches to keep the cynics at bay with all those late signings and we only got a 10 goal win credited for us.

No surprise that a side that was competitive and by no means disgraced in C1 last year is on top ofa D grade competition.
