That's simple, no point wasting my time on the weekend, because everyone knows...

hahahahaha yes! This should be R&C's premiership shirt when they win.... ;)

Our premiership shirt should be a box?? Theres another reason we have no intention of winning this week

Not pretty enough?????

Lister has been great for us, like fanta said, still training with the group. Its one of those things that the captain and coach need to do to pick the best side. Stats......if we were looking at stats....OTHphilby should be bowling 20 overs a game lol

Can't argue with that, totally agree!

Must be such a luxury being in a team where you can have such a devastating bowler like OTHphilby not be requried to have a trundle..

Lister has been a massive part of our success as others have said.. I would hate to be Fuller and Hanisch on Thursday night.

There is never a time I should be required to have a trundle.. only when we have 5 bowlers out for Stereosonic.

Honestly if I bowled 20 overs a game we would be dropping back down to div 2 next year.

My strike rate is good.. thanks to you PG.. but look at that economy of 8 lol.. can't hit the same spot 2 balls in a row.. two full tosses an over is easy pickings as well.

Oh well... :(

If I were Lister i'd be pretty p**sed off! Balloch selected on the back of a Grade 1 average of 11 and Nixon who although has more wickets has proven more expensive than Lister...

i suppose i gotta make some comment about this dont i...

look when i was informed that i was dropped, yeah admittedly i was hugely disappointed. as any player would be when they are told they will be missing out on finals. truth of the matter is, coaches n captains dont pick players, players pick themselves. i accepted the decision, and the reason behind it. i think it was a fair decision, albeit a tough one to swallow. but we have probably 15 guys who can play A grade and do a job, doesnt take a genius to work out someone is going to miss out

my performances in the last 2 games werent special. and one thingthe scoresheet doesnt show is miss fields and dropped catched. one of the reason behind me being dropped. Nixon is a proven performer with the ball, and also a quality fielder. Jay balloch is handy down the order and again is a very handy fielder. its a string to their bow that i dont have. im somewhat a liability in the field at times.

whether the decision to drop me is a right one still remains to be seen i guess. but so far, winning a semi final in the first day goes a long way to confirming it. and this isnt all just bullsh!t, and me trying to put a good spin on things for the 'media' to try hide an arguement, or bad blood between players at a club because there is no issues with the selection that was made. as i said to them before the semi, and will say to them before the final - i will be there with them, but instead of dropping catches on the boundary i will be dropping them on the other side as they sail for six. wish the boys luck in all grades!!!

Geez you blokes do media training up the hill? Throw out the cliches, very diplomatic almost erring on the side of cautious! It's like reading something you would read in the paper lol.

In all fairness though, I threw out the bait and you handled it better than I was hoping, probably couldn't have given a better answer I suppose.. so credit to you and OTH and your media training program ;)

Is that why you were sooking early in the year when you weren't getting a bowl? ;)

You're too modest! Impact bowler! not hitting the spot 2 balls in a row is probably an advantage - if you dont know what you're doing, what chance has the batsman got!

Two wells lol... You're lucky I ain't playing this week in the grandy... Last time I played at two wells I ripped you blokes a new one. Hit a run-a-ball 70 and took 5/29... Who's the sack now?.. Let me answer. That would be you Mr Sacky McSack-Sack...

Did it take you 4 weeks to write that post? Considering you're running off iHug dial-up Internet, 4 weeks isn't too bad. Do you get annoyed having to unplug your landline to get on the Internet?
