What is this clown up to ?
Definately not getting kicks if the paper is anything to go on. Not in the best once and hasnt kicked a goal !!! Surely Jervois arent playing this bloke?? If they heard he was a decent footballer it must have come out of his mouth cause he is own no. 1 supporter !!
Infact he is the only bloke that has ever said anything decent about himself.
When you recruit as many players as what Jervois does you're going to recruit some who arent worth their money once in a while. And does it really matter anyway - they've got so many other quality players/recruits, and a huge bucket of money, dont think it will really make a difference at all. Yeah sure clubs like their recruits to perform, but as someone who follows RMFL footy, its quite obvious to me that Jervois will win the flag again this year (certainly would be interesting to see how they'd go against Langhorne Creek at the moment too). They've got so much more depth (money

) than any other club, and with the experience built up from last 3 years i think they're a certainty to make it 4 in a row (especially with the cagey Tim Richards at the helm).
Before the season started i tipped Ramblers to win the flag, and of course they still MIGHT, but to me they've been the big disappointments this season so far. On paper they've got a great list of players, but they may actually have to compete strongly for a top 3 spot with the way Imps, Mypo and Mannum are going at the moment. Not having Girardi around for many games i think has hurt them badly
Back to Jervois, i noticed their B grade results the other day, Braun, Lalo Kartinyeri and Burkett all playing, theyre all quality players, the Bloods just have so much depth. From what i could tell the League side wasn't playing great footy at the start of the year (including trials), but now theyre just a fair way above each of the other clubs, lets hope the other 4 contenders can provide a serious challenge for the rest of the season.
Down & Out, that does sound a bit of a funny one with Dent playing Super Rules, but who knows there might have been a legitimate explanation for it such as him wanting to get some match practice for the upcoming games, and to see if hes over his injury yet. But i agree, on the surface does seem strange, and im wondering if the club had advanced knowledge of him playing in that game.
