hardly renowned for winning.
You are amazing marbles, Mitchell Park won 4 games in 2009 and 1 in 2010 in Div6 then 11 in Div 7 in 2011 and won a Div 7 flag in 2012. BIG gap between 6 and 7.You should know that.
How many blokes from the 2010 Div 6 team played in the 2011 Div 7 team? Further more how many of the 2010 team played in the 2012 GF winning side? I would say not alot but could be wrong (happens a bit) Any relegated team in all divs (exception possibly Woody Sth last season) knows they still have to recruit a good amount of good players to do well the following year in the lower div. If the gap between div 6 and div 7 was that big the need for Ingle Farm and Houghton to recruit heavily wouldnt be there.
I am not pointing this at Ingle Farm or Houghton but instead those that feel the gap between div 6 and div 7 is so big, hence the constant posting about Ingle Farm being favs.
Bigshow82, 16 from the Div 6 side in 2010 played in 2011 and 14 played in the 2012 premiership. the other 8 were recruited in 2012 with one purpose in mind, a strong desire on their behalf to have success. The good thing is they have all stayed, that is the number 1 priority when getting new guys to your club.
