They dont make West End so that statement could be true. But it isnt.
Not the best, but they do make very good beer.
My favorite was Yebisu, but that's made in Hokkaido and since the Fukushima accident I try to steer clear of anything North or West from Yamaguchi.
Sapporo and Kirin are also excellent beers and both have breweries right here in Kyushu so I don't need to worry about my wee glowing in the dark.

Australia's Guinness supplies were being made by Fosters for years.CENTURION wrote:Sapporo in AUSTRALIA, THE GREATEST COUNTRY ON EARTH, is bloody expensive stuff & doesn't taste any different really to most other beers going around. On the other hand, Coopers Pale Ale has won international awards. If the Irish are going to allow Guinness to be made in Adelaide, We here must be doing something right. SO STICK THAT UP YOUR VOLVO EXHAUST PIPE

When I had a Guinness at the factory in Dublin, I was told its not even as good anywhere outside Dublin as it doesn't travel well, and the stuff made overseas is not the same (at all, at all).CENTURION wrote:Psyber wrote:Australia's Guinness supplies were being made by Fosters for years.CENTURION wrote:Sapporo in AUSTRALIA, THE GREATEST COUNTRY ON EARTH, is bloody expensive stuff & doesn't taste any different really to most other beers going around. not now, that's all about to change. They have rated our Guinness 9.5/10!

Our colours were on it that year but not in the top spot! I doubt that we will see yours back on it again before the magpies become the power reserves and therefore leave the SANFL...
