People aren't interested in five day batathons.

They can go to a t20 and see that in three hours.

From what i saw of the pitch on day one it will be very hard to bat on when day 4 and 5 comes around.

Game will be lucky to make day 4 going by the turn late on day 2. Not sure why India selected Yadav or Zaheer for that matter, it's just not cricket when spin bowlers open the bowling in test cricket.

The disturbing thing to my mind about this pitch is the attitude of some of the Indian commentators. They're actually proud of it.

Heard one of them say "grass is for cows", and there was some talk about it being a true test of ability. Seems to me more of a true test of winning the toss and having a team full of spinners.

Oz can expect much more of the same when we head over there next year. Genuinely difficult stuff if you haven't grown up with those conditions.

Agree they were actually talking about next test playing four spinners and getting a couple of the batsmen to open the bowling with a few over each.

They conceded that zahir khan will play with 3 spinners and that 4 spinners wouldn't like to play together as they wouldn't get long enough spells.
