in regards to the sellwood case, all he said was "they are takin the piss arent they" while laughing as a joke

i wouldnt exactly call that slamming the MRP.

And he'll get charged with bringing the game into disrepute and it's splashed all over the afl website. Happy to publicise it, take the advertising $ on that page and then charge the bloke.

Listening to KB and Patrick Smith trying to justify it this morning was hilarious. Pair of wankers.

Maybe now he will stop being a try hard tough man, he is a joke and deserves his 2 for a pathetic attack off the ball

Have you guys seen the vision, Rioli is soft he initiated the whole thing stopping Hartlett from leading, then drops like he had been shot when Hartlett was 4 metres away.

Agree with this totally. Both players were having a go at each other, Hartlett runs back to the contest as does Rioli for a few steps then goes to his knees. Vision proves nothing. One thing is certain that Hawthorn don't mind dishing it out to a smaller bloke (Danyle Pearce) but can't take a simple one on one. Laughable really.

LOL- the 'Hammer' hitting someone in the nads. What an enforcer he is...

FWIW- no way that footage should convict anyone!

Saw the vision for the first time last night and am staggered that Hartlett got done on that basis .. There was no clear vision of blows landed and it appeared as though both players were getting into each other

problem is he was charged after an investigation not solely on the vision. Rioli is obviously a dog and blabbed like a baby.

The convicting evidence was Rioli's statement that something hard hit him and winded him. He said it was like a fist or elbow. Based om this and the vison the ban was upheld

I guess he had to say that otherwise he would have copped a penalty for staging.

Tell that to Joel Selwood who got four weeks on digital guesswork last year. There is only one thing you can expect from the MRP, inconsistency.

Heard a rumour that Stanley & Lonergan were getting 2 weeks each for er...'hitting' each other.
