clearly they are still playing just not finding the best form in the game atm,
it's not the easy to just walk into a team at the age of 19 and be the best player ever!

Suck it up hazel jnr if you spent more time thinking about the upcoming game and less about the Mannum under 16's girls Netball side, you might get a kick or 2 and take the heat off....

wow big words from a guy that has a son in the same boat as me, (CLAP CLAP) Mr Hazel. come talk to me when your son can mark a ball or even help kick mannum a goal

Noticed the Blues lost their 4 games to Mypo today.

Would be a while since Imps lost all games.

I believe the Bears won all four too. Been a while since we've done that too.

The 5 is shaping to a nice little finals race with a few interesting results.
Imps not such certainties as they were being declared.
Wheels falling off at Mannum, will their recruits take the loot and run at season end?
Is the Motlop experiment a chance of working?

Have to give credit when its due and mypo just ran and run our big blokes off their feet. Collo had no answer but i have one PLAY MORE LOCAL KIDS WHO WILL RUN. Tailem have actually improved and credit to them for battling away against the association dream team. Mannum played better but as usual not good enough. I still feel sorry for Mannum, they have had to replace a lot of players from last year and most of the replacements have contributed sometimes , what is up with Hale apparently he is getting paid what for i dont know, i hope its only petrol money and for Mannums sake he rides a scooter.

Any news on Seyers and if he is playing a's for Imps this week?

Dont know about you guys but if I were playing there and had been busting my arse all season to get a game in either a's or the ressies, I would be pretty filthy with him and the coaches.

This is one of the reasons why people leave the club and go to Peake or somewhere, then you all whinge saying they are poaching your players

As a past player who still keeps in contact with alot of players in both grades from what i hear are pleased to jabe matt back out playing and we knew that he was always going come back when work wasnt as busy.
At Imps the best 21 is picked in both grades i know 100% that no one is being dropped this week because a few injuries

Well I know a fair few myself and it does bother some of them a bit, maybe they are just to scared to speak up. If you knew your spot was safe in the side, you would be stupid to not want him in your team.

I understand no one will be dropped this week but if you had been training since last year and continually have him rock up when things are looking good for a flag it would have to bother you if you were a fringe player in either grade.

I wonder if he would be playing if they were sitting outside the 5 with no hope of playing finals???

Yeah, its been talked about alot that he wont be there next year. I'm tipping Brett White to take over the coaching and a few of Ladhams recruits to stay at Jervois with him

Exactly my thoughts biffboy, he seems to do it every year, bit funny how he always seems to find time once it gets to the crunch end of the season, just in time to qualify for September

You can t blame him if the club welcome him back with open arms all the time!
Yes I feel for kids/fringe players who might miss out selection because of his inclusion, not a nice place to be put in. Though it would add incentive for them to become better players to avois being the one dropped. At successful clubs there are always these types of selection issues (not always blokes coming in midway, but under other circumstances) where at others not as successful, blokes could play potentially 150+ senior games because they 'bleed' for the club but reality suggests they not that good a footballer. It becomes your preference as to what you want out of your football.
Harsh I know, but that is how the cookie crumbles

No talk about Mypo much on here, yet the beat Imps last week! Flying under the radar, & with all the outs we have this week, would not be surprised to see a very 1 sided match. They could be top at the rounds end.
Good luck to the blokes playing at the Nat champs this weekend. Enjoy the experience.

Dont blame seyers or the club as a whole . Collo is there to win and nothing more so he will play his best 21 no matter what and if that 21 is not good enough he will buy someone else or talk seyers into playing . I love imperials but anyone can coach successfully if they can get away with that , something the incredible great man who set this team up for collo TONY FIELKE would not have done.

A luxury not many clubs boast being able to bring back a quality player like Seyers. Would be interesting to know the work situation and if hes been in and involved around the club for the season. Would find it hard to find a spot for him if he had barely been seen at the club all season.

I love seeing Imps smash teams but I must admit bringing in Hall and Seyers at this stage seems a bit over the top. The reserves have won three flags in a row and the U/17 have lost 2 games in 2 years. Surely there is enough home grown talent there to develop. It may result in short term success but there may also be some long term damage in this move.
