I'm not saying that Boak isn't a reasonable chance of leaving, but I would think a better source than that would be needed to confirm it.

Will be a very good player in a good team. He's an outside player in the main but has to go and get his own ball at the moment. Put him in a top 4 team and he will be outstanding.

so booney if he would be a gun in a top 4 side do you think thats what will make him go as port a bit away from success....you would hope he would be loyal but we all know thats gone nowdays not many play for the love of the jumper anymore....

It's well publicised that he lost his father about a year before coming over here and is close with his Mum and siblings, you can understand the pull to be a family unit as much as possible in those circumstances.
We all better grow accustomed to players moving around, I think it will happen more and more in the future.
And I would think where we are as a club may have a bearing on his decision. I hope it doesn't though.

Not until you find a ruckman who is a) Not a pension card holder or b) can play more than 1 game in a row.

I think they got about 14k when they played north.

Surely such a move by Geelong is not within the rules. From what I gather, Boak cant negotiate a deal with any club at this point ( other than Port ) so why can Geelong send Scott, Bartel and Selwood into bat like they did?
