Ashton - Place back to the Creeks after a stint in Queensland will be a very handy addition for them. With Hill and McGregor hopefully returning from injury shortly the Creeks should be nearing full strength finally and will take on a Formiddable look.
Creeks will need those 3 in their rd 13 clash with McLaren as they may well be missing Johnson, Kellock and Derham, all 3 selected for for S.A. Country to play in Wagga that week.

Massive game this week for the Creeks against the Bays. Another loss by the Creeks would see the Double chance all but gone.

Willunga by 48 over McLaren - McLaren heading for 4 losses in a row

Strath by 15 over Goolwa/Pt Elliot - not easy to pick this one but will go with Strath who have the better form aiming for 3 in a row.

Creeks by 20 over E.Bay - Bays going along nicely but Creek too strong

Yank by 35 over Compass. Should be far too good.

Victor over Myponga by 4. Really depends if Victor come to play- could lose or win by plenty

Willunga by 50+
Goolwa by a kick (need this one to keep the dream alive, particularly if the Creeks are on the improve and the fake Eagles are on the slide)
Bays by 5 (need this one to prove they're genuinely in the hunt)
Yank comfortably
Victor by a kick

Willunga too good for mclaren today. Number 43 For Willunga looks set for a holiday. King hit a mclaren bloke and turns out he broke his jaw. No report made but did just view some camera footage from a supporter which does more than tell the story!

I am again rehashing something that was discussed on here at the beginning of the season... Round 2 we went to Langhorne Creek and LOTS of our players and supporters headed to their bar for an after match drink and catch up before our LONG drive home... Yesterday.... ONE player came into the Bays clubrooms after the match as he had a connection he wanted to catch up with... SO where is this all heading.. Why arent Clubs reciprocating.. We ALWAYS go back into the oppositions clubrooms... What are others thoughts... and I would love to know why the Creek couldnt reciprocate yesterday..

Didn't they have a show on at there club? Greg Richie i think?
We don't seem to have an issue with it at Pongy. Plenty of Victor boys in after the game yesterday, even after making it a bit harder for them to take 5th spot.

Over due win by the mudlarks yesterday, finally getting our best 21 on the park. Hilly was great for us up forward kicking 7, TC & Tilt did as they pleased. Iljcesen was Victors best I thought.

Yes he is - broken jaw
I hope Willunga No 43 enjoyed bragging to his mates about his dog act tonight
Brett was in front of you all day today - is that why you had to punch him from behind?

Creeks had a show back at their clubrooms, think it was the only one for the year organised after an AWAY game.
I dont know whether they socialise in the oppositions clubrooms normally anyway. Limb might know the answer to that one?
Obviously you feel pretty passionate about this issue.
There's no compulsion for players and supporters from opposition clubs to go in for a drink afterwards. If they do, well then thats all well and good but if they dont, i dont think you should be holding it against them. It's an individual choice surely? Lets face it, by the time the 'A' grade is done and dusted and players have cleaned themselves up, it's dark and cold and most just want to get going home.
I'm more involved in cricket and the same occurs there. Some players from some teams hang around for a few but a lot dont, more so the younger players and as footy is more of a younger mans game, that may be your answer.

Going in for a drink after the game is part of what country footy is about. Sometimes it maybe hard when you have suffered a bad loss, but it should be done all the same. I guess it is understandable if a club has their own show on that night but popping in for 10 mins wouldnt hurt then either. Senior players (or the coach) should lead by example and let the young ones know it is expected.

Bays/Creek game looks like it was a cracker going by the quarter by quarter scores.

Despite the ladder saying otherwise it is well and truly a race in 4 for the flag at this point in the season with 5th, 6th and 7th only managing 1 win in the last 5 games each.

Yes thanks FOD .. I agree with the drink.. a quick 10 minute ONE drink is all that is needed.. Actually Neely has put a compulsory one drink on our A's so that is a ripper... Perhaps others should do this also.. Just looks crap when they cant even come in for 5 minutes. and the match was a cracker... could have gone either way right up to the siren... Couple of mistakes by us at the end saw them score two goals that was the decider... But there was also plenty of opportunity for us thru the game to not leave it to these two mistakes to decide the game.

Yes who wears 43 for Willunga......
