Ages ago, a distant memory.
Played over a long weekend at Adelaide Oval.
Tassie had a Tassie Island on the front of their jumper.
The Big White V with Big John Nicholls , WA with the Swan.
That was State Footy.
Something has been lost with the introduction of AFL.

Clare Oval, Port Pirie's Memorial Oval, Port Augusta, Berri, Mount Gambier, Whyalla etc could all cater to it and locals would probably turn up in droves. What is there to lose?

Fair question, would've got easy 5000+ at any ADL hills ground.

Normal League game entry prices and Yes you park on the surrounding Streets.
I normally play golf most Saturday mornings and it was bloody cold yesterday. I didn't fancy spending the afternoon in it either especially near the beach. Went to watch a SAAFL game in the eastern suburbs and returned home at half time of that as I was too cold. Watched the 2nd half of the SA v WA game on the telly instead.
