We are all living the same dream, i even try telling them i dont ever plan on getting involved in coaching/administration etc etc so i only have 2-3 playing years left due to injuries and then 50 years of not playing they just dont get it though.
To them sport is just men running around getting injured chasing a stupid ball.
Instead i should be walking around the shops looking at stuff we are not buying making ourselves feel depressed that we cant get it.

i think all our missus must be related, although i definitely dont play anymore.
we spent a long weekend in Sydney in January. 4 days walking around shopping. my wife and her friend just didnt understand when the i said that it wasnt my idea of good a weekend away in Sydney. and they definitely didnt like my idea of a trip to kings cross for some entertainment.
