Lifting weights fine for a month and even managing a bit of jogging without hurting myself in any way and then throwing my back out this morning trying to fix an out blown umbrella.

lol, i love it when inlaws do that, its not like you guys didnt meet through sport is it! i can understand their point a little more if you were a sudden convert to watching/playing sport (as a means to get away from them) but you were into footy etc long before you guys hooked up.

unfortunately most inlaws seem to be the same. i was a fat drunk before my wedding, i dont see why they think i should change after!

Have you had the sentence "You're not married to your mates" used against you yet? It's a classic my mum taught my missus. Bitches be crazy.

We are all living the same dream, i even try telling them i dont ever plan on getting involved in coaching/administration etc etc so i only have 2-3 playing years left due to injuries and then 50 years of not playing they just dont get it though.

To them sport is just men running around getting injured chasing a stupid ball.

Instead i should be walking around the shops looking at stuff we are not buying making ourselves feel depressed that we cant get it.

i think all our missus must be related, although i definitely dont play anymore.

we spent a long weekend in Sydney in January. 4 days walking around shopping. my wife and her friend just didnt understand when the i said that it wasnt my idea of good a weekend away in Sydney. and they definitely didnt like my idea of a trip to kings cross for some entertainment.
