13 APPROVED PLAYER POINTS SYSTEM
13.1 Member Clubs shall comply with the approved player points system (APPS) rules and
conditions as specified in the SACFL Regulations, in particular Clause 32
13.2 The proposed Player Points System shall be in accordance with the Guidelines set out in
Appendix 4 of the SACFL Regulations.
13.3 A Member Club must not field a Senior (A grade) team in any official match of The League
where the total allocated player points exceed that Member Club’s Total Points Rating.
13.4 A player of a Member Club must, before playing a match for a Member Club, complete
and lodge with the Member Club and The League a player declaration form.
13.5 For the purpose of the SACFL’s Appendix 4 Clause 1.5 ruling regarding the child of a Club
Life Member, The League’s interpretation of a Life Member of a Member Club is a person
who played a minimum of 100 senior matches for the same Member Club or has given five
years unpaid off field service to the same Member Club.
