I take it all back and think the exec are back to what i thought they were after reading the above post by Oxygen
), you couldn't possibly expect the Assoc to go out on a limb and book a large venue for the event?? 
That's a huge punt to take! 
And if the teams don't do the right thing and book enough tables to at least cover costs, the Assoc is lefting holding the can. And you can forget about your Carnival 'subsidy'..
