I just don't understand some of the crap you have put up.
First point. If you build up a culture of mate ship and good club environment, people will want to train 2 nights a week. I would never play for a club where guys don't think they have to train and still get a game. If people cant train at least once or twice a week they are playing for the wrong reasons.
Second point. Maybe that is y you want guys to train, so you can teach them the style of footy you want them to play and play as a team. Cant teach crap if they are not there!
3rd point. If you are a good coach and have the respect of the players, what you say as a coach is not forgotten before you finish. Basically you are calling your players dumb and a coach who struggles to get the best out of them.
Im sure SHOC trained very hard last season and trained both nights of the week which showed grand final day. If you want to stay down the bottom of Div 7 or even fade away to a one side club, just train when you feel like it and then wonder y you struggle to run out a game or attract people to your club.
