Fair to say they were washed out and decided to play in the 1 day side. Very ordinary, Stacked a football side this year in a lower grade so why not a cricket side, They do it well. Muppets.

You clearly have no idea Yardy.... so who's the muppet?
EA, if the MCC committee made them play thats poor (should have been to make up numbers only), it could have also been to ensure the A grade played (as they only played 3 games roughly).

It was there entire A grade side - as it was listed on mycricket. Its actually against the rules if any of them play in the 2 day comp this week so will be interesting to see who plays in their A grade

Still think you will struggle to find a ByLaw that prevents them doing what they have done.

What about this one? Seems fairly clear to me.
C6. PLAYING IN MORE THAN ONE TEAM
No player may play for 2 or more teams and/or clubs in the same round of A.T.C.A. fixtures without the prior permission of the permit Sub-Committee. In each match in which a player plays without such permission the opponents of the offending team shall receive the greater of the actual match and incentive points earned by it or the points which would have been awarded had it been in receipt of a forfeit from the offending team. The offending team in each case shall lose all match and incentive points earned by it in the match plus ten (10) additional points.

Here is the problem for us. They technically havent done anything wrong yet, and now knowing the rule their whole A grade can play LO F again this week AND they play us AGAIN. So our D grade gets spanked 2 weeks in a row by a side that has struggled to win a game before this. The other thing will be if they cant find 11 (or 8 ) other blokes to play A grade and hence have to forfeit - does this mean their other 2 day teams forfeit too as u cant forfeit a higher grade side??

Not sure it is 100% clear that Rounds 9 & 10 in LO competition equates to Round 6 in 2-Day competition.
